The North American Aviation P51 Mustang was a long range single seat WW11 fighter aircraft. The aircraft came into existence from design to build completion in just 117 days! The Mustang P51 saw service as a fighter – bomber, reconnaissance aircraft as well as a bomber escort. After WW11 and The Korean War, many Mustangs were converted for civilian use and particularly popular as a racing machine.
